The Glory Girls

Amanda is from Wolcott. She was First Runner-Up in the Miss Wolcott America 2001 pageant.

Amanda has appeared in many local theatre productions across Connecticut including: Fame, Crazy For You, Little Shop of Horrors, Bye Bye Birdie, and Guys and Dolls where she had the lead role.

She was also honored to perform at a ceremony in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii on the Fourth of July. Many of her other musical performances include: Canada's Wonderland, Disney's Magic Music Days Ceremony on the Dock Stage of Downtown Disney. She was a member of the Show Choir and President of Mixed Chorus at Wolcott High with numerous appearances at places such as The Basketball Hall of Fame, Bozzutto's Distributors Annual Christmas Party, Mayor of Wolcott's Christmas Party and Picnic on the Green, Manor Inn in Southington, Wolcott View Manor, Wolcott and Bristol Annual Car Shows, and Wolcott elementary schools.

Amanda has also sung the National Anthem at events such as the New Britain Rock Cats Baseball, Wolcott Memorial Day Parade, Thanksgiving Day Football Game and basketball games. She was the featured entertainment for the Falk Foundation Annual Board Directors Dinner. Amanda was also one of seven young ladies to record an original composition graduation song written by Nicole Chevalier, which was performed at her graduation ceremony. This same group recorded a Christmas song which placed as a finalist in a competition.

She also has volunteered heavily in her community including the Wolcott Lion's Club Fair for 5 years! Amanda also danced for numerous years with A&A Studio of Dance under the tutelage of Amy Zappone.

Amanda currently is a student at the University of Connecticut.
